A sudden opening appears amid the bustle of everyday life—a gap, a space, an empty moment that gathers and distills the sensations of an utterly ordinary person who pauses and, all at once, SEES.
It is that instant which holds the feeling of letting go of the cork that keeps us afloat in time and space, and suddenly brings about the longed-for halt: silence within that same senseless flow where minutes devour each other at the relentless pace of time.
It is, in that precise moment, that the pulse of one’s own body is felt and dormant words emerge—words that now DO give name and meaning to everything, until they encompass and exhaust its true substance. It is in this lucid dream that you behold your own boundaries and, perhaps for the first time, rest your gaze upon those photographs that have patiently borne witness to the stagnation of absurdity.
You draw closer, you examine every gesture, you recall the moment and its story, and then you realize that this scattering of happy moments—those that earned their place upon the empty walls—is a reminder (or rather, a jolt) of impermanence, longing, and the lightness of being.
