Donate Food to Zoe in Yourself

Lamb kebabs and T-bone steaks are showing up at soup kitchens across South Florida, thanks to a growing number of restaurants and food providers donating meals they otherwise would throw out.

In the past year, the number of local restaurants donating leftover meals has more than doubled. That's partly because of a state law passed in 2008 that protects food donors from lawsuits linked to prepared foods.

Places such as Chipotle, Starbucks and The Cheesecake Factory are packing up food left over at the end of the day for agencies to pick up. It's safe to eat, but near expiration or not fresh enough to sell.

For this reason, from Zoe in Yourself we ask you donate us all the food leftovers that are still in good condition so that we can make delicious dishes, so we can keep feeding those in need thru our group program “Friday Food Delivery Miami Rescue Mission”.
